Panorama Langkawi launches “Skycab Duck Tour” for CNY
LANGKAWI (Jan 20, 2012) : Panorama Langkawi Sdn Bhd, which manages the cable car service here, has launched its latest product, ‘SkyCab Duck Tour‘, which is an amphibious bus.
Its chief executive officer, Ebi Azly Abdullah, said the ‘SkyCab Duck Tour’ enabled tourists to experience a ride in the bus which could travel in both land and water.
“Tourists can experience a two-kilometre journey to the Telaga Harbour before travelling on the water in the vicinity of the harbour.
“The package is a collaboration with Duck Tour Sdn Bhd, and this collaboration will diversify our products in providing alternative service to the tourists,” he said in a statement here today.
Ebi Azly said the company was targeting an 18 per cent increase in tourists this year, adding that more attractive and innovative products would be announced by the company this year.
Meanwhile, in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year, a lion dance performance will be held at the north deck, on the peak of the Gunung Mat Chincang on Jan 25, beginning 10am.
Panorama Langkawi also operates the SkyCab or Langkawi Cable Car which was voted ‘Most Outstanding Tourism Product’ at the Langkawi Tourism Industry Awards 2010 event. – Bernama
